This Expert Course carries 25 ECTS credits, accredited by the Universidad Europea del Atlántico. It combines theoretical knowledge, practical application, and continuous assessment for a well-rounded educational experience. Students will complete 250 hours of classroom instruction and 375 hours of independent study.

Entry Requirements
- A university degree or at least three years of higher education. Non-Spanish degrees must be equivalent to an official Spanish qualification and allow for postgraduate study in the issuing country.
- The Academic Committee of Expert Studies, made up by formed by staff of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico, will review each candidate’s academic and professional background to determine eligibility.
- Non-native Spanish speakers must provide a C1-level Spanish proficiency certificate.

Module 8: Teaching practice and evaluation (80h)
- The course includes teaching internships, providing students the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real and diverse educational settings. These internships can be completed at Spanish teaching centers (or possibly abroad), including our own institutions as well as schools, universities, language academies, and international organizations offering Spanish as a Foreign Language programs. During the internship, participants will engage in classroom observation and receive guidance from an experienced tutor. Each tutor is a qualified professional with extensive teaching experience, ensuring personalized support and meaningful feedback throughout the process.
Academic Calendar
The course is offered in two periods throughout the academic year, with two starting dates: one in September, which runs through February, and another in January, which ends in June. This structure allows students to choose the time that best suits their schedule, providing flexibility and continuous learning opportunities throughout the year. The date of the internship will be agreed with the center after the end of the course.
