Erasmus+ projects

A group of 7 vocational education and training students from Martinique (France), from Lycée Professionnel Place d’Armes (Lamentin), completed their work placement mobility under the Erasmus+ programme, managed by Carlos V Education, in Madrid, Spain.

Programme Details

• Group: 7 students: Tatiana Marcela Constancia Posada, Mathys Charles Jean Louis Fournier Cotelle, Kylian Jérémie Haustant, Madlouze Sloana Noel, Lyanne Marie-Céline Notolan, Océane Sarah Ourmiah and Lya Marie Valles Gentil.
• Mobility Period: 5 June 2026 to 24 June 2026 (20 days).
• Sending Organisation: Lycée Professionnel Place d’Armes (Lamentin, Martinique, France).
• Specialisation: The students were enrolled in vocational programmes in Sales, Commerce and Customer Service / Reception (Bac Pro Métiers de la Vente et du Commerce, Bac Pro Métiers de l’Accueil and Reception Technician).
• Programme Structure: The stay included professional work placements in companies within sectors related to their vocational profiles.

Accommodation and Management

The mobility was coordinated by Carlos V Education as the intermediary organisation, responsible for local management in Madrid. The group was accompanied by teachers Alexandra Marie Nayaradou and Kwenda Kizzy Scholastique.

Sectors and Host Companies

The work placements took place in companies operating in the retail and tourism services sectors:

• Retail: Clothing stores, jewellery shops and other retail businesses (customer service, product advice, cash handling and stock replenishment).
• Hospitality and Tourism: Hotels, reception desks and tourism services (welcoming guests, telephone assistance, reservation management and providing information and guidance).

Skills Development

The mobility programme enabled the students to strengthen several key areas defined in their Learning Agreements:

• Professional Skills: Customer reception and welcoming, customer service, sales advice, cash handling, reservation and file management, product replenishment and administrative support tasks.
• Language Skills: Improvement and consolidation of spoken Spanish and oral interaction in a real working environment.
• Transversal Skills: Development of personal autonomy, adaptability to an international environment, responsibility, punctuality and teamwork.
