Erasmus+ projects

• A group of five vocational education and training students from Linz (Austria), belonging to Linzer Technikum (LITEC), completed their work placement mobility under the international work placement programme managed by Carlos V Education, in Madrid, Spain.

Programme Details

• Group: Composed of students Tobias Buchgeher, Ömer Faruk Baskut, Jonas Kopececk, David Etzlstorfer and Florian Hackl.
• Mobility Period: From 28 June 2026 to 26 July 2026 (29 days).
• Sending Organisation: Linzer Technikum (Linz, Austria).
• Specialisation: The students are enrolled in vocational education and training programmes in Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering.
• Programme Structure: The stay included professional work placements in companies within the sector, adapted to their technical and electromechanical profiles.

Accommodation and Management

The mobility was coordinated by Carlos V Education as an intermediary organisation, which was responsible for local management in Madrid.

Sectors and Host Companies

The work placements were carried out in companies operating in the Mechanical, IT and Electronics, and Industrial sectors:

• Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Industry: Companies specialising in technical maintenance, mechatronics and industrial processes (assembly and installation of mechanical, IT and electric motor components, turning, milling, welding, cable routing, CAD design and quality control).

Skills Development

The mobility allowed the students to strengthen various key areas defined in their learning agreements:

• Professional Skills: Basic machining operations (turning, milling and welding), assembly and installation of mechanical components, electric motors and computer equipment, interpretation of technical and computer-related drawings, CAD design (Solid Edge) and basic programming knowledge (C++), as well as parameter verification, technical diagnosis and application of industrial quality control procedures.
• Language Skills: Improvement and consolidation of communication and interaction skills in English and Spanish in a real technical working environment.
• Transversal Skills: Development of personal autonomy, adaptability to an international environment, teamwork, technical problem-solving, responsibility and punctuality.
