Erasmus+ projects

• Two vocational education and training students from Halver and Schalksmühle (Germany), belonging to the Eugen-Schmalenbach-Berufskolleg, completed their work placement mobility under the Erasmus+ programme, managed by Carlos V Education, in Madrid, Spain.

Programme Details

• Group: Composed of students Marc Bober and Giuseppe Trombello.
• Mobility Period: From 26 June 2026 to 16 July 2026.
• Sending Organisation: Eugen-Schmalenbach-Berufskolleg (Halver, Germany).
• Specialisation: The students are enrolled in a secondary education programme specialising in Economics, Business Administration, Commerce and Tourism (Business & Administration).
• Programme Structure: The stay included professional work placements in companies within the sector, adapted to their technical profiles and professional interests.

Accommodation and Management

The mobility was coordinated by Carlos V Education as an intermediary organisation, which was responsible for local management in Madrid and for arranging the students’ accommodation in an apartment.

Sectors and Host Companies

The work placements were carried out in companies adapted to their profiles and specialisations:

• Travel and Tourism / Commerce: Companies in the tourism sector and retail businesses, focusing on customer service, information and booking of tourism products/services, administrative support and direct sales.

Skills Development

The mobility allowed the students to strengthen various key areas defined in their learning agreements:

• Professional Skills: Use of office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and ERP software), direct customer service and commercial advice, document management and administrative tasks in retail stores or offices, information and customer service in the tourism sector, and integration into the daily operations of sports and fitness facilities.
• Language Skills: Consolidation and improvement of Spanish communication and interaction skills (B1/B2 level) and English (B2 level) in a real working environment, together with the use of their native languages (German and Italian) in international contexts.
• Transversal Skills: Development of personal autonomy, strong teamwork skills, adaptability to an international environment, responsibility, punctuality, discipline, and effective communication and interaction with customers.
