Erasmus+ projects

A vocational education and training student from Bochum (Germany), belonging to Walter-Gropius-Berufskolleg, completed his work placement mobility under the Erasmus+ programme, managed by Carlos V Education, in Madrid, Spain.

Programme Details

• Group: Comprising the student John Bersch (Group No. 12175).

• Mobility Period: From 5 July 2026 to 29 August 2026 (with the work placement period from 6 July to 28 August 2026).

• Sending Organisation: Walter-Gropius-Berufskolleg (Bochum, Germany).

• Specialisation: Vocational education and training in Design Technology and Industrial Design Technician (Design Technology / Industrial Design Technician).

• Programme Structure: The stay included an 8-week professional work placement in a company in the sector, adapted to his technical, creative and digital design profile.

Accommodation and Management

The mobility was coordinated by Carlos V Education as the intermediary organisation, responsible for local management in Madrid.

Sectors and Host Companies

The work placement focused on the creative, technological, industrial design and audiovisual development sectors:

• Design and Creative Development: Performance of technical tasks in graphic design, CAD and product design, visual layout and development focused on video games and creative industries.

Skills Development

The mobility enabled the student to strengthen various key areas defined in his learning agreement:

• Professional Skills: Application of technical design techniques, development of visual projects and layouts, CAD modelling, interface development and projects focused on product and video game design.

• Language Skills: Practice and consolidation of Spanish in the workplace and everyday environment, together with the use of English in technical and international contexts.

• Transversal Skills: Teamwork, project organisation and planning skills, adaptability to the Spanish professional environment, a creative approach to problem-solving and strong motivation for international professional development.
