From November 1 to 3, Berlin once again became a meeting point for thousands of international education professionals. The International Consultants for Education and Fairs (ICEF) Berlin 2026 brought together schools, institutions and agencies from around the world, and Carlos V Education took part in this important industry event for another year.

Held at the InterContinental Berlin, the event provided an opportunity to share experiences, discover the latest industry trends and, above all, build new connections with professionals in international education.

An Event with Over 30 Years of History

Over the past three decades, ICEF Berlin has established itself as one of the leading meeting points for international student recruitment.

Professionals from more than 120 countries attended this year’s event, which combined one-to-one meetings, seminars and various opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences.

Networking was once again one of the main highlights. Thousands of in-person meetings took place during the main event days, alongside informal networking opportunities over lunches, coffee breaks and receptions.

Carlos V Education in Berlin

Carlos V Education’s participation in ICEF Berlin is nothing new. Our International Relations team regularly attends this event to maintain relationships with agencies and partners, establish new partnerships and keep up with the latest developments in international education.

At the 2026 edition, we had the opportunity to meet professionals from different countries, present our educational programmes and explore new opportunities for collaboration.

Back in 2023, an ICEX report highlighted Idiomas Carlos V among the Spanish institutions and companies participating in one of the leading international fairs dedicated to language education.

New Connections, New Opportunities

At ICEF Berlin, participants had the opportunity to arrange one-to-one meetings with both existing and potential partners. The event also featured a programme of seminars, presentations and panel discussions exploring the trends shaping the industry.

For Carlos V Education, taking part in these events is essential to expanding our international network, introducing our educational programmes to new markets and maintaining direct contact with professionals and agencies from different countries.

Spanish Language Learning Goes Global

Language education and immersion programmes also had their place at this international event. ICEF brings together professionals involved in language travel, higher, secondary and vocational education, as well as providers of services and cultural exchange programmes.

Spain has a long-standing presence at major international events in the sector. The country is particularly appealing to international teachers and students because it combines language learning with the rich cultural experiences it has to offer.

In this context, Carlos V Education continues working to bring its Spanish language programmes in Spain to students from all over the world.
