A group of 13 students from the Lycée Professionnel Émile Letournel (Saint-Pierre and Miquelon), under the Erasmus+ programme managed by Carlos V Education, completed their internship mobility in Málaga (Spain).
Programme Details:
Mobility Period: From March 1 to March 20, 2026 (Group 11004).
Programme Structure: The stay included, as an integral part, a Spanish course and two weeks of professional internships (from March 2 to March 19, 2026).
Fields of Study (Saint-Pierre and Miquelon):
The group consisted of students from various vocational baccalaureate specialisations in services, management, and industry:
- ASSP (Health/Personal Care)
- AGOrA (Administration/Business)
- CIEL (IT and Electronics)
- MELEC (Electrical Studies)
- MV (Vehicle Maintenance)
Internship Sectors and Roles in Málaga:
The internships took place in a multisectoral environment in companies in Málaga, allowing students to apply their technical knowledge and develop new skills:
- Health and Social Care Sector:
Tasks included assisting with daily activities, helping with meals, supporting and supervising users, and contributing to activities.
Host Company: Day Care Centre AFA (for ASSP students). - Administrative, Commercial and Hospitality Sector:
Tasks included restructuring service offerings, managing and publishing content on social media, breakfast service, reception, customer service, and administrative tasks.
Host Companies: Apart Málaga (for AGOrA) and Govez – Torremolinos El Pinillo (for AGOrA). - Technical and Industrial Sector (Electricity, IT, and Mechanics):
Tasks included electrical installation and repair, IT maintenance and networking support, and vehicle maintenance and repair operations.
Host Companies: SABWAY Málaga Store (MELEC), MICEL Andalucía S.L. (MELEC), Rambo Telecom SL (CIEL), and Talleres AZR (MV).
Skills Development:
The work immersion, complemented by the language course and cultural visits (Alcazaba and Gibralfaro, Centre Pompidou, Picasso Museum), significantly strengthened:
- Professional skills through practical application in real work environments
- Transversal skills such as autonomy, responsibility, teamwork, learning ability, and communication
Satisfaction Rating:
General satisfaction surveys show a very positive evaluation of the programme (4 or 5 out of 5 in almost all aspects), with students describing it as a “great experience” they would recommend to a friend.
