A group of 6 Czech students from the Střední škola vizuální tvorby, s.r.o. (Secondary School of Visual Creativity), managed through the Erasmus+ programme with Carlos V Education, carried out their professional placement mobility in Seville from February 9 to February 20, 2026 (stay from February 8 to 22).
Their placements were mainly developed in the Art and Design sector, with a clear focus on Graphic Design and Digital Graphics Processes. The specialisations focused on the professional application of graphic design in host companies such as Microlibre, Módulo Gráfico, and Decero.
The specific functions during the placements included:
- Graphic Design: Creation and editing of visual materials, posters, and corporate identity elements.
- Digital Processes: Preparation of data and designs for cutting machines, laser engraving, and plotters, as well as hands-on experience with various graphic design applications (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, among others).
- Production and Logistics: Participation in the handling and finishing of printed material, including paper folding and installation of material for exhibitions.
This experience allowed the students to apply their technical knowledge in a real working environment within the Andalusian creative sector. Furthermore, the international immersion served as a valuable platform for developing competencies in autonomy, learning capacity, precision, and effective collaboration, with a notable strengthening of their professional communication skills.
