A group of French students from the Lycée des métiers Charles de Gaulle carried out their internships in Seville from January 11, 2026 to February 1, 2026, in the sectors of fashion and garment making, design and upholstery, and leather goods.
The specializations focused on Costume and Stage Dressing (DTMS Habillage), Fashion and Garment Making (Bac Pro MMV Mode) and Saddlery and Upholstery (Bac Pro MCSG Sellerie).
This resulted in specialized tasks such as design, pattern making and garment production in flamenco fashion houses and costume ateliers, as well as upholstery work and leather handling in the automotive sector.
In addition, the experience allowed them to grow both personally and professionally, by working and living independently in a foreign country, facing the challenges of a new cultural and professional environment, and improving their adaptability, autonomy and intercultural communication skills.
