Erasmus+ projects

A group of seven vocational training students from Germany, belonging to the Handwerkskammer Dortmund (Dortmund Chamber of Skilled Crafts), completed their internship mobility under the Erasmus+ program, managed by Carlos V Education, with destination Sevilla, Spain.

Program Details

• Group: 10993, composed of 7 students.
• Mobility Period: March 2 to 20, 2026.
• Sending Organization: sequa gGmbH.
• Specialization: The group consisted of students specializing in Heating and Air Conditioning Systems (Anlagenmechaniker SHK).
• Program Structure: The three-week stay included a Spanish course to improve language skills and two weeks of professional internships (March 2–19, 2026).
• Accommodation: Students stayed in two shared houses located on Fernando IV and Ardilla streets in Sevilla.

Internship Sectors and Roles in Sevilla
The internships took place in the Installation and Technical Maintenance sector in companies in Sevilla, allowing students to apply their specific knowledge in a real professional context:

• Technical and Maintenance Sector (Heating and Air Conditioning): Tasks included performing and documenting maintenance work, troubleshooting, and general upkeep of operational resources, essential for technical facility management.
• Host Companies:
  • Hotels: Hotel Bellavista and Hotel Los Seises.
  • Specialized Companies: Montesol Instalaciones S.I., AirFrisco Climatización, and BSM Electricos Industriales SL.

Competency Development
The professional immersion, complemented by the language course and cultural activities (including welcome and closing meetings with Carlos V Education), significantly strengthened the following competencies:

• Professional Competencies: Through practical application in real work environments of their technical specialty.
• Language Competencies: Expansion of skills in the local language (Spanish) and English.
• Transversal Competencies: Development of autonomy, responsibility, teamwork, learning capacity, and social and intercultural skills.
